I’m a Product Designer based in Lagos, Nigeria with a background in Biochemistry. That background sharpened how I think about systems, precision, and understanding people at a deeper level.
Currently designing for UVS and Gloroq, I’ve spent the past year building digital experiences across mobile apps, multi-entity platforms, and complex web dashboards.
I believe great design starts long before the first frame. I spend time researching, thinking through user needs, and making intentional decisions so every screen I ship feels right for the people using it.

Synthesize insights into clear problem statements, user flows, and information architecture before touching a single design frame.
From wireframes to high-fidelity screens — craft interfaces that balance visual quality with usability, grounded in user needs.

iyanu.olamide01@gmail.comAI-powered hairstyle discovery and booking platform where users scan their face, get personalised recommendations, and virtually try on styles before booking their hairstylist.

Finding the right hairstyle and hairstylist is mostly guesswork. People scroll through social media, show up to a salon, and hope the stylist understands their vision. There’s no easy way to visualise a style on your own face before committing — and no reliable platform combining discovery, personalisation, and booking in one place.
BladeRoom combines AI-powered hairstyle recommendations with a full booking and marketplace platform. Users scan their face, receive personalised suggestions, then use the TryOn feature to virtually see how any style looks on them before booking.
Regular users discover styles and book appointments. Hairstylists apply to join, get approved, and their interface adapts to reveal management tools — while keeping the familiar core experience intact. Both users share access to wallet, marketplace and product ordering.
The AI face scan and TryOn is the most unique part of BladeRoom. I designed it as a primary action on the home screen so users immediately understand this isn’t just another booking app.
Instead of a separate app for hairstylists, BladeRoom gives them an interface upgrade once approved. The core feels familiar, but stylist-specific tools appear naturally — reducing confusion and making onboarding seamless.

Watch the AI face scan in action — users scan their face and instantly see personalised hairstyle recommendations with a live TryOn. Fully prototyped in Figma.

Gaming competitions are fragmented — no unified place to discover tournaments, join teams, or stream live events. There’s also a real accessibility problem: gamers spend hours on screen, but most platforms ignore the visual fatigue this causes, especially for users with color blindness.
Gloroq is a desktop platform where anyone can explore live competitions, join or create teams, and switch into a Creator Dashboard to build and manage their own tournaments. The color system was designed specifically to reduce eye fatigue and remain legible for users with color blindness.
Users have a standard audience/gamer dashboard. Creators switch into a separate creator mode with a distinct theme color — making it immediately clear which mode they’re in and preventing confusion between the two experiences.

An expert hiring marketplace that removes friction from finding skilled professionals — smart filtering, eye-friendly UI, and a fast seamless payment flow.

Finding the right expert for a job is stressful — posting flyers, word-of-mouth, and unreliable freelance platforms make it hard for companies and individuals to quickly connect with verified, skilled professionals. The hiring process is slow, uncertain, and lacks a clean user experience.
HireWise is a mobile marketplace where hiring companies and individuals browse, filter, and hire experts quickly — with a sleek UI designed to be easy on the eyes even during extended use. The color palette was specifically chosen to minimise visual fatigue while maintaining a premium, trustworthy feel.
The payment flow was designed to have as few steps as possible — from selecting an expert to confirming payment in under a minute. No redirects, no confusion.

Multi-entity barbering platform with three completely separate onboarding paths for clients, barbers and organisations — plus a full dark mode design system and admin dashboard.

Barbering platforms typically serve one user type — the client. But the reality is more complex: individual clients, independent barbers, and organisations requesting group haircuts all have completely different needs and workflows.
UVS solves this with three separate onboarding paths chosen at the very start of sign-up. Once a user selects their type — client, barber, or entity — they enter a completely tailored experience. Nothing overlaps. Each flow is designed specifically for that user’s real needs.
UVS was built with a full dark mode design system — not just a colour toggle, but a complete rethink of contrast, depth, and hierarchy for low-light environments. The admin dashboard extends this to desktop scale.

A gaming avatar skin explorer where players browse, customize and purchase skins — designed with a bold immersive UI that matches gaming culture with a built-in payment flow.

SkinForge is a focused mobile app concept for gaming avatar customisation. Players explore a library of skins, modify them to their preferences, and purchase directly through a built-in payment system — all within an interface that feels native to the gaming world.
The UI was designed to match the energy of gaming — using high-contrast visuals, bold typography, and rich color to create an immersive browsing experience. Despite being visually dense, the purchase flow was kept minimal and direct.
Users have a profile that shows their purchased skins and current avatar — creating a sense of identity and ownership beyond just the shopping experience.
